As every year the last Saturday of November was held on the Food Collection. This event, created and managed by the Food Bank, aims, through the invaluable assistance of thousands of volunteers, collection of food products of primary necessity to give, as a result of families living below the poverty line. In all the supermarkets of Castel di Sangro of people in yellow uniform distributed leaflets throughout the day, urging customers to participate in this kind of solidarity, of course one of the many volunteers of Castel di Sangro were also the guys from the High School, which owe their thanks for this wonderful experience to prof. King Fioritto, organizer of this area. This is not the only function of the Food Bank, which works every day to try to improve the lives of others. Like every year this time was a great success, and for years to come hopefully in increasing participation.
