Europe is facing: the young and educated
From October 19 to 22 was held in Paris a conference on theme "Santé humaine et Action Sociale -
Education pour une citoyenneté et un développement durable "which was attended by nine school leaders as representatives of various European countries (including Turkey), including our principal Cynthia D'Altorio. The meeting showed that health education should not be imposed as a school subject but as a cross-field teaching that involves all disciplines and school staff.
By comparison, (which took place in French, not English as you might expect) has revealed that improving people's lives, and by implication the lives of children, is an emergency in all states, however, the ways in which this occurs is different for each state.
has been agreed that the teachers, to be able to offer young people a better way of life, they must first follow the same training. (As in France for the project PROFEDUS).
However, the school must not be the only institutional body to deal with this, but must cooperate with youth centers, with doctors' offices, libraries, recreation centers, etc ...
Schoolchildren then, should not be the only recipients of message of the institutions on a better way of life, in fact it was suggested that opening even to adults, especially women, because there the need to improve individual identity and social consequence.
If each individual is better than the company becomes better.
